lesson from india's ancient wisdom
the easiest thing to be in the world is you.
the most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be.
don't let them put you in that position.

conversations: exchange of messages through email, sms, and chat between marlon, chie and i.
email conversation 012308
marlon: fw. Heath Ledger found dead in New York
blanca: yeah, we were talking about it
marlon: it's going to be really scary watching him as the Joker in The Dark Knight.OM
blanca: the more we need to watch
marlon: heath's death made me realize one thing. filipinos are really showbiz oriented. "dito sa opis" (here in the office), i never heard any locals discussed abt this news "pero kami ni jopet dalawang beses na cguro namin napagkwentuhan" (but jopet and i were talking about it probably twice already) since this morning hahaha "mamaya ulit sa lunch pag nakasabay namin yun ibang pinoys "(later again during lunch time with other filipinos) i wonder how is it "sa opis nyo?" (in your office?)
no comments heard from chie
marlon's correct, we seem to show so much interest with the lives (well, death on this matter) of showbiz personalities. news about them are everywhere, be it the newspaper, television, internet, etc
good or bad? i can't tell.
lon, ang hirap mag transalate ha!

p.s. i love you
a movie based on a novel by cecelia ahern is on its first showing day and i wouldn't miss it for anything. (not even a steam bath or sauna, wink*wink*)
the story is about a married couple so deeply inlove with each other, having a time of their life when suddenly death comes in between them. Gerry’s death takes the life out of Holly. However, morbid as this sounds, Gerry left her letters that will take her to new adventure and each ends in “P.S. I love you”. I was already in tears after few minutes of watching the movie. It was like feeling Holly’s every pain. I was moved by her struggle to move on and their undying love.
a journey of rediscovery in a story about marriage, friendship and how a love so strong can turn the finality of death into a new beginning for life
the movie differs to the book in several ways but i couldn’t choose one over the other.
keep a dream diary
to quote an article in sixty-four tips from india's ancient wisdom "to do lists are the secret ladders to achieving dreams, make it a practice to write everything you want in life - including simple things". if i am to write in my dream diary it will be ...
myself in a perfect fit body enjoying the view in fort ilocandia *that's what we call detailed*
taking pictures in batanes using a new lens for my camera
enjoying my graduation party
having a perfect valentine dinner
driving a new black honda civic named skywalker *i love the star wars*
using a mac notebook *how i wish*
a lot more which i perfectly picture in my mind ....
"look at the list every day with a quiet smile and remember to drive all your activities towards realizing them one by one"

a fall will always make a wise man wiser
is it a plain excuse for the wrong things we've done in the past or truth that we learn more when we fall?
sometimes even if we know the right choice, we give in to what we think can make us happy. and in the end made an excuse that the fall made us wiser? does it? or does it only prove we have brains and yet we choose not to use it?
we learn when we fall. we fear the consequences we faced when we made that mistake. we became very careful in our decisions.
why can't we just be wiser and not fall? ahh, my wishful thoughts...
